Dreamwork by Dr. Anjali Hazarika
Dr. Anjali Hazarika is known internationally for her work with dreams in the corporate sector. She has introduced many Indian Managers from multiple organizations to the art & practice of dreamwork. Her key focus areas in dreamwork includes new product development, creative problem solving and fostering an innovation culture.
Anjali is the author of the Award-Winning Book, “Daring to Dream”: Cultivating Corporate Creativity Through Dreamwork” by Sage Publication (New Delhi, Thousand Oaks & London, 1998). She served as the Vice-President Asia Pacific region on the board of International Association for The Study of Dreams (US).
Dr. Anjali Hazarika has Post Graduate degrees in Psychology (Pune University) & Social Sciences (Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai). In 1992, she was awarded her Doctorate – first of its kind – an exploratory study of “Dreamwork as a Training Methodology for Management Development” from Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi University.
Anjali writes regularly in the media, delivers public lectures. She also appears on television shows to demystify dreams, restore their value in contemporary life. She is a member of Institute of Noetic Sciences (USA), International Association For the study of dreams (USA) and Indian Society for Training and Development (India).

Leadership Coaching
Dr. Anjali Hazarika is a certified Leadership Coach with Center for Creative Leadership (CCL), Singapore. As an Associate Coach, she has actively coached clients across multiple sectors. These include Automobile, Telecom, IT Consulting, ITES, Energy, Engineering, Manufacturing, Cement, Hospitality & Government Sectors. Anjali worked with Oil India Limited (OIL), an exploration and production company in various capacities including Head of Talent Management & Leadership Development. Her career in OIL has spanned for more than 2 decades.
She served as the Director of National Petroleum Management Program (NPMP) from 1996 to 2006. NPMP was a learning network of 12 oil and gas companies in India. Its members were the CEOs & Board level Executives of petroleum companies and were responsible for executing large scale change in the industry through various initiatives. As a Founding Director, she oversaw its funding, operations, conducted Industry Surveys, organized international seminars and conferred Annual NPMP Awards for Excellence. She also designed and delivered Executive Education Programmes.

Dr. Hazarika is currently an invited member of the Advisory Council and Steering Committee of Centre for Innovation in Public Systems (CIPS). CIPS was set up at the recommendation of the 13th Finance Commission for promotion of innovative initiatives in public systems.
Diversity & Women related work
Dr. Hazarika is also actively involved with Diversity Issues in Corporate India. She has written extensively in media and journals on the subject. Anjali was Founder Secretary & Former President of the Forum of Women in Public Sector (WIPS) in 1998. WIPS was set up under the aegis of Standing Conference of Public Enterprises (SCOPE), New Delhi, India. Anjali has facilitated many workshops for women executives that provide new insights & blueprints for change.
She was responsible for setting up Handicraft Training Production Centre in the field headquarters of OIL in Assam in 1984. This was done under the CSR program for training rural women in weaving & generating self-employment.
Her second book “Walk The Talk: Women, Work, Equity, Effectiveness”, published by Sage Publications in 2017 deals with women in the workplace. The book is converted into an audiobook by Amazon in 2018.
The book was awarded Second Prize in the DMA-NTPC Management Book of The Year Awards, 2018. The book was also shortlisted for the Management Book of The Year Awards, 2019 in Aspiring Leaaders Category by the Chartered Management Institute (UK) in collaboration with British Library (UK) and Henley Business School, (UK).
